10.10.18….. I just love all of the fun Halloween decor (…jack-o-lanterns, spider webs, scarecrows, etc.) this time of year! O.K., let’s be honest….it’s the sweet treats that I really love the most! I always enjoy giving out sweet treats to my friends and co-workers as well, and this adorable little takeout box is just perfect for that. I diecut the box, using the Takeout Thinlits Dies, which is part of the Takeout Treats Bundle. If you don’t already have it, you’ll want to order this super versatile bundle….and save 10% too!
Once I diecut the two pieces for the box (using Crumb Cake Cardstock), I stamped them Buffalo Check background stamp (along with my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad). I assembled the box (using Tear and Tape Adhesive), and add a tiny band of Country Lane Designer Series Paper around the middle. The bats were punched from a Black Foil Sheet (using the Spooky Bats Punch) and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit more color, I used the Twinkle Builder Punch along with Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.
On the top of the box, I used Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon for the bow. I then diecut the little tag (using the Takeout Thinlits Dies), and tied it with a piece of Linen Thread. The sentiment (from the Spooky Sweets stamp set) was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock, using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. I speckled the sentiment with a bit of black ink, cut it apart, and adhere both pieces with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For my last little detail, I added a couple of Faceted Dots on the tag.
