10.27.18…..OK, I realize that Halloween is just four days away. However…..I couldn’t resist squeezing in more Halloween project! I’ve had a ton of fun using the Spooky Treats Bundle. The Spooky Treats stamp set has so many versatile elements, and the Spooky Bats punch coordinates just perfectly with the bats stamp!
To create this spooky card, I layered a piece of Country Lane Designer Series Paper along with a strip of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (…and you thought this paper was only for those precious little ones in your life!). I added a piece of a Black Foil Sheet underneath, and then used a few Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere it to the Thick Whisper White Cardstock base. For a bit more color, I added another small strip of County Lane Diesgner Series Paper, and notched one end. To add some extra texture, I distressed the edges of all of the paper as well.
For moon and stars from the Spooky Treats stamp set, along with my Crushed Curry Classic Stampin’ Pad. I stamped the sentiment (also from the Spooky Treats stamp set) with my Black Memento Ink Pad, and then added a bit of speckling. After I used the Everyday Label Punch to punch out the sentiment and also punched it out one more time from a Black Foil Sheet, then layered it underneath. I punch a hole in both of the top corners, using a 1/8″ Handheld Punch. After adding some Black Bakers Twine, I tucked in a piece of White Polka Dot Tulle and Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, and then adhered the label with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the bats, I used the Spooky Bats Punch with a bit more Black Foil, and then adhered them with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For my touch of bling, I added in a few Metallic Sequins.
