For both my card and candy holder, I used two of the 2020-2022 In Colors….Bumblebee and Magenta Madness.  The I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each project, so you can scroll right to the project that suits your fancy and start creating!

Let’s start with my Happy Birthday card…

I started with a piece of Bumblebee Cardstock, and embossed it with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  After I used my Craft Stampin’ Pad (inked with White White pigment ink), along with a Sponge Dauber, add a subtle wash of color, I adhered it to a Bumblebee Cardstock base.

I then used two of the gorgeous new 2020-2022 In Colors (Bumblebee and Magenta Madness) along  a couple of Sponge Daubers to randomly add color to the large blossoms stamp from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.  Before I stamped it on a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock, I spritzed the image just a bit with my Stampin’ Spritzer.  After the stamped image was dry, I also added a bit of speckling with my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.  (Note: I  also repeated these steps again, on a second piece of Shimmery White Cardstock, so that I could use it for the tiny die cut flowers on this card, as well as the candy holder that I created.)

For the tiny flowers, I used one of the dies from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle, along with the second piece of Shimmery White Cardstock that I created above.  I also popped them up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sentiment (also from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle) was stamped on a small strip of Shimmery White Cardstock, using Magenta Madness.  After I cut it out, I popped it up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the Woven Threads Sequins.

Next up is the little candy holder…

I started with a 3″ x 6-3/4″ piece of Bumblee Cardstock.  So that it would wrap around a Ghiradelli square, I scored it at 2″ x 2-1/4″, 4-1/2″, and 4-3/4″.  I then used the scalloped border die (from the Stitched Be Dies) to die cut each end of the cardstock.

I then cut a 1-5/8″ x 3″ strip from the Shimmery White Cardstock that I stamped while I was creating my Happy Birthday card. (See instructions above.)  I also used a bit more of that cardstock to die cut the tiny flowers, using one of the dies from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.

I also added a Linen Thread bow, and sprinkled on several of the Woven Threads Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,

  1. Oh Tammy, your card and your candy holder are so wonderful. I love all your creations and I love these two again. The watercoloring is so soft and the thin flowers work perfect to these soft colors. Just so gorgeous!
