04.25.2021…..Happy Sunday, everyone! I can’t believe that April has almost come to a close! And…..it’s already time for another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! For this Sunday’s hop, we are featuring projects created with the new 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog Sneak Peak products! For these two projects, I used the gorgeous, new Quiet Meadow Bundle, along with two of the new 2021-2023 In Colors…..Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia!

We hope you have a chance to hop along with us today! You won’t want to miss any of the wonderful projects created by our amazing designers!

Get ready, get set, go…!!!

These brand new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog…..along with an spectacular collection of amazing new stamp sets, paper, accessories, and tools…..will be available to purchase beginning on May 4, 2021.

Be sure to mark your calendar!

For the card and the tag, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, and used a Sponge Dauber to add a some soft swirls of Fresh Freesia. I then used the “text” stamp (from the Quiet Meadow Bundle), along with Fresh Freesia, to a background pattern. I also added some speckling with the Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Write Marker. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the paper.

For the card, I also used a Basic White Thick Cardstock base, and added another piece of Basic White Cardstock (embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder).

To create the flowers for both the card and the gift tag, I heat-embossed the flower image (from the Quiet Meadow Bundle) on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. To color the flowers, I used the Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs.

To cut out the Basic White Thick Cardstock tag, I used one of the new Tailor Made Tags Dies.

The leaves and stems for both projects were cut from Basic White Thick Cardstock, using two of the dies from the Quiet Meadow Bundle. For the bows, I used the new Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon, and Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon (on the tag only). Before I created the bows, I cut the ribbon in half vertically. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the new 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

Just another friendly reminder…
