11.05.2021…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! It’s color challenge week…It’s always a fun week for us! We LOVE color challenges, and based off of all the great cards y’all usually share with us on Color Challenge weeks – you love them too!
We’re so excited to have you join us for this week’s Color Challenge….Pool Party, Just Jade, and Misty Moonlight! Hope it inspires you to create to your heart’s content, whether it’s cards or other creative paper projects!
For this shaker card, I started with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, used a Sponge Dauber to add some Pool Party to the inside top layer of the embossing folder, and then embossed my Basic White Thick Cardstock. Once I was done, I adhered it to a Pool Party Cardstock base.
Next, I used one of the Layering Circle Dies to cut out a window in another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then add some fun patterns to the cardstock, using the Stitched with Whimsy Dies and the Stitched Snowflakes Dies.
The snowman (from the Snowman Season Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I then used a Water Painter…..along with Pool Party, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, and Cinnamon Cider (for the nose)…..to quickly color the image. Inside the shaker window, I added some Subtle Shimmer Sequins.
The sentiment (from the Whimsical Trees Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up and added some Pool Party Sheer Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Misty Moonlight Baker’s Twine (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack).
