artisan design team – june 2023 – beautiful balloons bundle…

06.27.2023…..Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today, I wanted to share my June 2023 projects, as a member of the Stampin’ Up! 2023 Artisan Design Team. I was assigned the fun and festive, Beautiful Balloons Bundle, from the new Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! This wonderful bundle is jam-packed with wonderful phrases, patterns, elements, and tons of inspiration! It’s absolutely perfect for card-making, memory keeping, and so much more! I hope this projects inspire you to create some wonderful creations of your own, using these amazing products!

For my first card , I started with some Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next I added some Basic White Thick Cardstock, which I embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

To create the flower petals and the leaves, I added some Flirty Flamingo (for the petals) and Soft Sea Foam (for the leaves) to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then used the two different balloon dies (from the Beautfiul Balloons Bundle) to cut out several petals and leaves, and layered them together. (For the center of the flower, I used Daffodil Delight ink.)

The sentiment (from the Beautiful Balloons Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

For my second card, I added some Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP to a Coastal Cabana Cardstock base. Next, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, and layered more Basic White Thick Cardstock and Pool Party Cardstock underneath.

To create the colorful background, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. Next, I stamped the “Yay You!” sentiment several times with Coastal Cabana, and “stamped off” a few times as well. To create the speckling, I used a Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Marker. After I cut the cardstock into three strips, I popped up each strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the watercolored stars, I added Flirty Flamingo to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and cut out the stars with dies from the Beautiful Balloons Bundle. To create the sparkly stars, I used the same dies, along with More Dazzle Specialty Paper.

To create the bow, I used White Baker’s Twine, with a few threads pulled out. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Wishing you creativity always,
