let’s celebrate (#gdp140)…

Detailed With Love - Celebrate by Tammy C. Wilson

05.30.18… Today was one of those days when I didn’t have a specific card layout or color combo in mind, until…I saw this week’s Global Design Project #GDP140). So…I decided to just start with a blank canvas (…a.k.a. Whisper White Cardstock). Next, I pulled out my new Detailed With Love stamp set …which, by the way, is quickly climbing up the charts as one of my “Top 10 Favorite Stamp Sets”! Such a versatile set! With the super adorable sentiments and trendy embellishment stamps, you just can’t go wrong!

hey, friend…

A Good Day - Hey Friend by Tammy C Wilson

05.27.18… As so many of you do, I also send out cards for birthdays, holidays, weddings, …you name it.  But… sometimes it’s nice to send a card to a friend “just because”.  I especially like to do this for friends that I don’t get to see often.  It’s such a nice way to say “Hey, friend…I’m thinking of you today”.  And…what a fun surprise!

shimmer & shine…

Detailed With Love - Let's Celebrate by Tammy C. Wilson

05.27.18…I’ve got to be honest…I’m obsessed with the new Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.  The patterns are to die for!  It also comes with another option … each 12″ x 12″ sheet has a “shimmery” side, as well as a matte side.  You just can go wrong with this gorgeously versatile paper!

For this card, I decided to go with “shimmer” option, using two different patterns from this beautiful paper collection.  Both strips of paper were layered on a Whisper White Cardstock base, which was speckled with Sahara Sand Ink.  For the “shine”, I used a Gold Foil Sheet along the Layering Circles Framelits and the Bloomin’ Hearts Framelits (for the little flowers).  I also used the Layering Circles Framelits, along with Vellum cardstock, to die cut the second scalloped circle. bloomin’ birthday…

Share What You Love - Happy Birthday by Tammy C. Wilson

05.26.18…I am having the best time ever with all of the amazing new colors and products from the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! catalog!  And…I could wait to use my new Petal Pink Cardstock to make this Spring-themed birthday card.  Oddly enough…today it’s 48 degrees outside, dark, rainy, and almost wintry.  Hey…I’m not complaining though, summer is literally just around the corner, and it’ll be 100+ degrees before you know it!

Garden Impressions - With Gratitude by Tammy C. Wilson (2)

05.20.18…  As everyone knows, gratitude can be expressed in so many different ways. One of the ways I enjoy showing my gratitude (even for the smallest things) is sending a handmade card.  That being said, I couldn’t wait to open up my new Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, and create this cheerful, sunny card!

05.12.18… I just received my box of pre-order items from the new 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  Was I super excited…kind of like it was Christmas morning?  Um…yeah! Are the new products absolutely amazing?  You betcha!  Did I waste any time before I started using all  of my brand new, amazing goodies?  That would be a “No”!

05.06.18… I always enjoy celebrating the “good stuff”, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary,  wedding,  graduation, or just because! A handmade card is such a wonderful way to show that special someone that the “good stuff” is special to you as well!

good friends…

Background Bits - Friend by Tammy C. Wilson

05.06.18… Whether you have that one extra special bestie (…or several) in your life, it’s always nice to show your appreciation for  them, whenever you can.  I love creating individual cards for each of my friends, that not only express my appreciation of our friendship, but their personality as well.  That being said, this card is one ofthose special creations.  I not only used a color combo that I knew would suit my friend just perfectly, but I also used a mix of patterns, shapes and textures that reflect her taste as well.
