stampin’ fancy friday – case a fancy friend…

08.01.2023…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for July’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a “Case a Fancy Friend” challenge! This means that when you see a card and are so inspired by it…then you copy it (or selective copy) and share what you create! We each chose one of our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team members, and “cased” one of their cards. How much fun is that??? That being said, I decided to choose the amazing @tamihewlett!!!

Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created and just who on the team they CASEd! We have 26 projects to share, and each one is AMAZING!!!

Then…..when you CASE one of our SFF teammates, share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post. We will share in our stories to inspire others as well!

Above is Tami’s gorgeous card! This is such a wonderful challenge for inspiration…yet so hard to chose who to CASE! I have always been in awe of the gorgeous color palettes and stunning floral cards that my amazingly talented friend Tami @tamilhewlett creates! She also used the Paper Florist Dies for her card, which is a huge fav of mine!

For my card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. To create the flowers and leaves for my card, I used a Water Painter to add Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, then cut them out with the Paper Florist Dies. I also used Basic White Thick Cardstock to create “white” centers of the flowers.

The sentiment was heat-embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
