artisan design team – july 2023 – stargazing suite

08.11.2023…..Happy Friday , everyone! Today, I wanted to share my July2023 projects, as a member of the Stampin’ Up! 2023 Artisan Design Team. I was assigned the fun and vibrant “out-of-this-world”, Stargazing Suite, from the Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! This unique suite is jam-packed with “stellar” phrases, patterns, elements, and tons of inspiration! It’s absolutely perfect for card-making, memory keeping, and so much more! I hope this projects inspire you to create some wonderful creations of your own, using these “stellar” products!

For my first card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with one of the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders, layered some Basic Black Cardstock underneath, and adhered the entire panel to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.

The planets were die cut from the Stargazing Designer Series Paper, using the coordinating dies from the Reach for the Stars Bundle. After I decided on how I was layering them, I popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (from the Reach for the Stars Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies, I popped it with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Tinsel Gems and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

For my second card, I started with some Holographic Trio Specialty Paper, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed a different color of the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder, and tore the left edge. I layered the embossed paper, along with some Stargazing Designer Series Paper, on some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

The spaceships (from the Reach for the Stars Bundle) were heat-embossed on Holographic Trio Specialty Paper, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Before I popped up the spaceships with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added some Simply Elegant Trim underneath. The sentiment (from the Reach for the Stars Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut apart the sentiment, I popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
