08.21.2023…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a super fun“ Sketch Challenge”. I always love a sketch challenge, because it’s the perfect way to jump-start your creativity!
I always love a sketch challenge. I’m also totally obsessed with two of the new SU colors…..Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath. So, of course I had to use those colors for this month’s challenge. To die cut the flowers, I used the Sentimental Park Dies, and then used the Exposed Brick 3D EF and the Quatrefoil Tile EF to add some extra texture.
Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We have 33 amazing projects to share this month, and each using their own unique interpretation of the challenge!
Then…..you create a card or project, with inspiration of your own (or use one from our team)…..using this sketch challange! Share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post.

For this card, I started with Lemon Lolly Cardstock, embossed it with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Lemon Lolly Cardstock base. For the next layer, I cut out a Basic White Thick Cardstock rectangle, using the Deckled Rectangle Dies, and embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. I then cut out a slightly smaller Basic White Thick Cardstock Rectangle, adhered it on top of the embossed rectangle, and popped up the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
All of the Bubble Bath Cardstock flowers were cut out with one of the Sentimental Park Dies. The tiny Lemon Lolly Cardstock centers of the flowers were cut out with another one of the Sentimental Park Dies. I also used little pieces of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up each of the flowers.
The sentiments (from the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
Wishing you creativity always,
