09.30.2023…..Happy Saturday, everyone! I have been having so much fun with the products from the All About Autumn Suite. And…I decided to use the dies from the Autumn Leaves Bundle to create another non-traditional, fall-themed card. I hope this card inspires you to use some of your favorite colors to create a card or project that’s a bit unexpected, too!
For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, and embossed it with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder. I then cut out another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies, layered it underneath. For some extra texture, I cut some Black & White Gingham Ribbon in half lengthwise, and wrapped it around the panel. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Basic Black Cardstock base.
To create the leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add Granny Apple Green, Tahitian Tide, and Azure Afternoon to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets to the paper. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used the leaf dies (from the Autumn Leaves Bundle) to cut out the leaves, and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Tinsel Gems and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
