10.06.2023…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! As we start off in the month of October, we have a fabulous Color Challenge for you…..using Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, and Pumpkin Pie! These beautiful, rich colors should be a great way to start you off with some inspiration!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
To create the flowers, I used the Color & Contour Stamp Set. I used the “solid” flower stamp, along with my Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin’ Pad. I “stamped off” the flower first, then used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Cajun Craze to the center of flower. Next, I quickly spritzed the stamp with a Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water), and then stamped it on Basic White Thick Cardstock, drying the image with a Heat Tool as needed. After the image was dry, used the coordinating “outline” flower, along with my Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad, to stamp the image on top of the “solid” flower. I repeat these steps for each flower, quickly cleaning off the “solid” flower stamp in between. To cut out each of the flowers, I used the coordinating die from the Scalloped Contours Dies.
The sentiment (from the Color & Contour Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Early Espresso Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and used one of the Nested Essentials Dies to cut it out. To add some extra texture, I added a Linen Thread bow underneath the sentiment. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.
