stampin’ fancy friday – christmas challenge…

11.20.2023…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a fun and festive ”Christmas Challenge”. I absolutely love gingerbread cookies, so of course I used the Sending Cheer Dies to create a fun and festive gingerbread card. IThere are 24 awesome cards that our design team created for this challenge, and they are the perfect way to jump-start your creativity!

For the gingerbread, I used Blending Brushes with Pecan Pie and Copper Clay. For the icing, I used a stylus, along with White Craft Ink. I also used the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon, and 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack.

Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We so many amazing projects to share this month, and each using their own unique interpretation of the challenge!

Then…..you create a card or project, with inspiration of your own (or use one from our team)…..using this sketch challenge! Share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post.

To create this card, I embossed Basic White Thick Cardstock with Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic Black Cardstock base.

For the gingerbread cookies, I used Blending Brushes to add Pecan Pie and Copper Clay to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then cut them out with one of the dies from the Sending Cheer Dies. For the icing, I used a stylus, along with White Craft Ink. For the little hearts, I added Bubble Bath and Balmy Blue to Basic White Thick Cardstock, the cut them out withtwo more dies from the Sending Cheer Dies to create the little hearts.

The sentiment (from the Merry and Bright Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. To tie the gingerbread cookies together I used Black & White Vanilla Large Check Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine in Sweet Sorbet.

Wishing you creativity always,
