12.29.2023…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m also sharing my December 2023 Artisan Design Team projects, using the fabulous Petal Patterns Dies, along with the Wonderful Thoughts Bundle. This is such a great combination of products…..with endless possibilities! I hope these cards inspire you to create some of your own cards and projects with this die set and bundle!

For this first card, I embossed some Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with the Countryside Blooms Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Flirty Flamingo Cardstock base. For the next layer, I used one of the Petal Patterns Dies, along with some Basic White Thick Cardstock. Next, I added a strip of Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, which was notched along the bottom edge. For the next layer, I used one of the Deckled Circle Dies to die cut a circle from Basic White Thick Cardstock, then embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
To create the hearts, I used a Blending Brush to add Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used the Wonderful Thoughts Dies to cut out the hearts.
The sentiment (from the Wonderful Thoughts Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then cut out with the coordinating die from the same bundle. For an extra bit of texture, I added some White Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out) and Petal Pink Ribbon (from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack) cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Iridescent Rhinestnone Basic Jewels.

For the second card, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used one of the Petal Patterns Dies to cut out the background from Basic White Thick Cardstock.
To create the next layer, I used a Blending Brush to add Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used the other Petal Patterns Die to cut out the top layer. (I also tucked a strip of this watercolored paper to the underneath the bottom edge of the embossed cardstock.)
