02.06.2024…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! I’ve been having so much fun playing with products from the adorable Bee Mine Suite…..from the Stampin’ Up! January – April 2024 Mini Catalog! And…..today, I wanted to create something a little unexpected with Bee Builder Punch from that suite. First, I added Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sorbet to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then used the large heart from the Bee Builder Punch to create the “Love You” card, and the bee part of the punch to create flower petals for the “Sweet” card. Hope these cards inspire to try something fun and unexpected with this suite, too!

For each card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and tore one of the edges. For the “Love You” card, I added Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper underneath the torn edge. For the “Sweet” card, I added Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper underneath the torn edge.
For the ribbon on each card, I used the Petal Pink and Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon, from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack. I then adhere the entire panel to a Basic White Notecard (5″ x 3-1/2″). On the “Love You” card, I also added some White Baker’s Twine, and on the “Sweet Card”, I added some Linen Thread.

Next, I used a Water Painter to add Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sorbet to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I punch out the hearts and the flower petals with the Bee Builder Punch. To create the center of the flower, I added Daffodil Delight to Fluid Watercolor Paper, and cut it out with one of the Deckled Circle Dies.
The sentiments (from the Bee My Valentine Bundle) were heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. To add a bit of bling to each card, I sprinkled on Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
