02.18.24…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! For our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop this month, the theme is “Whimsical Wings and Soaring Hearts”. Love is in the air with things with wings or soaring hearts, the choice is yours. Birds, Bees, Hearts and love, this can be interpreted in so many ways.
For my card, I decided to use the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set, along with the Alphabet A La Mode Dies. To color in all of the little birds, I used Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. Hope this month’s theme inspires you to create a card or project with some of your favorite stamps and dies!

For this card, I started with Pool Party Cardstock, embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Pool Party Cardstock base. For the next layer, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, tore the bottom edge, and added a bit of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.
To create the “friends” sentiment, I used Dark Petal Pink and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers to add some color to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then cut out the letters with the Alphabet A La Mode Dies. For the shadow underneath the letters, I used the same dies, along with Basic Black Cardstock.
The birds and the branch were stamped with my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, on Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used Petal Pink, Pool Party, and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends to color each of them.
The little sentiment (from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishements from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack.
