03.12.2024…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I decided to use up a few the bits and pieces that I had leftover from a few other projects. I had some Basic White Thick Cardstock that I had already inked and watercolored, so I used that to create the flowers and leaves. I also had a Basic White Thick Cardstock rectangle, which was die cut with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies, and also embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I just had to add the card base, some ribbon, and embellishments…and I was done! Hope these inspire you to create a card or project with a few of your leftover bits and pieces!

For this card, I used one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut out a rectangle from Basic White Thick Cardstock, then embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I also added a bit of subtle speckling with one of the Natural Tones (Medium Light) Stampin’ Blends Markers. Next, I used one of the Gorgeously Made Dies to die cut the right edge of some Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, and layered it underneath the embossed cardstock. I also popped up the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the flowers, I used a Blending Brush to add Melon Mambo to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter (filled with water) to splatter water droplets on the cardstock. After I dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool, I used the Petal Park Builder Punch to punch out the flowers, and adhered them together with Mini Glue Dots.

To create the leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add swirls of Soft Sea Foam and Mossy Meadow to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also added some speckling to the cardstock with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. To punch out the leaves, I used the Petal Park Builder Punch.

The sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For an extra bit of texture, I added some Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Blooming Pearls, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
