03.15.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I was was in the mood to create a card with a vintage farmhouse vibe. To create the look I wanted, I chose paper from three different Designer Series Paper collections…..Nature’s Sweetness, Perennial Lavender, and Let’s Go Fishing. Hope these inspire you to create a card or project with a mix of your favorite Designer Series Paper, too!

For this card, I adhered some Let’s Go Fishing DSP to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next I used a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP, tore off the right edge, and added some Nature’s Sweetness DSP underneath. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

To create the leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add Mossy Meadow (first) and Pebbled Path (over the Mossy Meadow) to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also added some speckling with a Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker. To cut out the leaves, I used one of the Artistic Dies.

The sentiment (from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I cut out sentiment with one of Cracker & Treat Box Dies. To give the tag a bit of a “chalkboard” look, I used a Sponge Dauber, along with White Craft Ink. To create the bow, I used Linen Thread and Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Brushed Brass Butterflies and Iridescent Foil Gems.

Wishing you creativity always,
