03.15.2024…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! I just realized that I forgot the card I created for our Stampin’ Fancy Friday “Something Blue” Challenge. For my card, I used the large leaf die from the Notes of Nature Bundle, along with Blueberry Bushel, Tahitian Tide, and a bit of Granny Apple Green. Hope these inspire you to create a card or project with a mix of your favorite “blues”, too!
Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We so many amazing projects to share this month, and each using their own unique interpretation of the challenge!
Then…..you create a card or project, with inspiration of your own (or use one from our team)…..using that month’s challenge! Share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post.

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered it to a Tahitian Tide Cardstock base. Next, I embossed another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.
To create the leaf stems, I used Blending Brushes to add Blueberry Bushel, Tahitian Tide, and Granny Apple Green to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets on the cardstock, and dried the paper with a Heat Tool. Next, I used a Water Painter, along with White Craft Ink, to add more splattering. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool again, I cut out several of the stems with one of the dies from the Notes of Nature Bundle. I trimmed off the stems as needed, and popped them up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins and the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack.
Wishing you creativity always,
