04.15.2024…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to create a card with a spring vibe. So…..I decided to use the Flowers of Beauty Dies, from the new Unbounded Beauty Suite. This gorgeous collection of products will be available beginning May 1, 2024, from upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I also added in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (for the background) and used the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set for the heat-embossed sentiment. Hope this card inspires you to create a spring-themed card or project as well!
For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Lemon Lolly Cardstock base.
For the flower stems, I used one of the Flowers of Beauty Dies, along with Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. For the little flowers, I used the two multi-flower dies (also from the Flowers of Beauty Dies), along with Lemon Lolly and Petal Pink Cardstock. To create each flower, I cut out two flowers (one bigger and one smaller), distressed them a bit, and use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the smaller flower on top of the larger flower.
The sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment, is a bow that I created with Lemon Lolly Sheer Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled embellishments from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack and Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems.
