04.19.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week we have a wonderful inspiration challenge for you! Inspiration challenges are one of my faves, and it seems like y’all really love them, too! For my take on this challenge, I decided to fill the background of my card with flowers, instead of butterflies. Hope this card inspires you to create a fun, unique card using this week’s challenge!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I used one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut out a rectangle from Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Blending Brushes to add swirls of Lemon Lolly to the rectangle. After I embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.
For the flowers, I used Blending Brushes to add Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight (for the centers of the flowers) to Basic White Thick Cardstock. Next, I used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets on the cardstock, and then dried it with a Heat Tool. To cut out the flowers, I used the Around the Bend Dies.
For the leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add Soft Sea Foam and Mossy Meadow to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and added speckling with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. I cut out the leaves, I used the Around the Bend Dies.
The sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment, is a bow that I created with White Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
Wishing you creativity always,
