05.10.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! I finally got a chance to play with the Spotlight on Nature Bundle. The detail in each of the images is fantastic, and are so much fun to watercolor. I used a Water Painter, along with Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and a light wash of Pool Party for the background. Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project with the Spotlight on Nature Bundle as well!
For this card, I started with Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, embossed it with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Flirty Flamingo Cardstock base.
I stamped the flowers (from the Spotlight on Nature Bundle) on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, using a Saddle Brown Stazon Ink Pad. To watercolor the flowers, I used a Water Painter, along with Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and a light wash of Pool Party for the background. I then used one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut out the circle, and used an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker to add some speckling. Before I used and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the circle to the card base, I tucked a Linen Thread bow underneath.
The sentiment (from the Spotlight on Nature Bundle) was heat-embossed on Pecan Pie Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad, along with White Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Petal Pink Foiled Gems and Brushed Brass Butterflies.
