06.15.2024…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I decided to do a little watercoloring, and created this card with a watercolored background. I used a Water Painter (along with Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, and Petunia Pop), and added the color to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Hope this card inspires you create a card or project using your favorite watercoloring technique, too!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic Black Cardstock base.
I used a Water Painter (along with Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, and Petunia Pop), and added the color to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used the Water Painter to splatter some water droplets. After I used the Heat Tool to dry the paper once more, I popped up the paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I thenused one of the Thoughtful Wishes Dies to cut out the leaves from Basic White Thick Cardstock.
The sentiment (from the Country Flowers Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. To add some extra texture, I added a White Baker’s Twine bow (with a few threads pulled out) underneath the sentiment. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishment from the Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio, Tinsel Gems Four-Pack, and Blooming Pearls.
Wishing you creativity always,
