07.02.2024…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Summer is in full swing, and the temps are definitely heating up where I live. So…..I was definitely in the mood to create these two notecards, using the Beach Day Stamp Set and Beach Day Dies. For my color combo, I used soft shades of Pretty in Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Pool Party. Hope these cards inspire you to create a few summer-themed cards or projects, as well!
For both cards, I started with a Basic White Thick Cardstock base (3-1/2″ x 5″). I then added a piece of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The next layer was created with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, along with some Basic White Thick Cardstock.
I used the Beach Day Dies to die cut all of the pieces. Before I cut out the lifeguard station itself, I used a Blending Brush to add Pool Party (for the card on the left) and Flirty Flamingo (for the card on the right) to my sone Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also used the same colors (along with a Blending Brush) for the life preserver and the little flag.
The sentiment (from the Beach Day Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using a Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad. After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.
