07.06.2024…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! I created the little stems on this card (using several ink colors, along with the Thoughtful Wishes Dies) a few weeks ago, but ended up not using them for the project I was working on. So…..today, I decided to finally create a card with them. Hope these cards inspire you to create a card or project using some of your leftover bits and pieces, as well!
For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
To create the little stems, I used Blending Brushes to add the following colors to Basic White Thick Cardstock…..Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Summer Splash, and Gorgeous Grape. Next, I used a Water Painter (filled with water) to splatter water droplets across the cardstock. After I dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool, I cut out the stems with one of the Thoughtful Wishes Dies.
The sentiment(from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Petal Pink Foiled Gems, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Tinsel Gems Three-Pack, Tinsel Gems Four-Pack, Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs, Blooming Pearls, and Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
