07.29.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a “color combo” challenge! Our team members each created a color combo! inspired by color combo from Annual Catalog, something you see in fashion or home decor, advertisement, etc.
For my card, I chose a color combo with a coastal vibe…..lots of white, along with pale blues and greens. I used Blending Brushes to add Coastal Cabana and Soft Sea Foam to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then cut out the leaves with the Textured Floral Dies. I also used the Unbounded Love Dies, Country Birdhouse Dies, and the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We have a total of 30 amazing projects to share this month, and each using their own unique interpretation of the challenge!
Then…..when you CASE one of our SFF teammates, share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post. We will share in our stories to inspire others as well!

For my card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
To create the branches and tiny flowers, I used Blending Brushes to add Soft Sea Foam and Coastal Cabana Basic White Thick Cardstock. I cut out the branches with dies from the Textured Florals Dies. I also used one of the dies to cut out branches directly from Basic White Thick Cardstock. The little flowers were also cut out from Basic White Thick Cardstock, using the Country Birdhouse Dies.
The sentiment (from the Citrus Blooms Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Embossing Powder. I then cut out the sentiment with one of the Unbounded Love Dies. To create the frame around the sentiment, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then cut it out with another one of the Unbounded Love Dies.
For an extra bit of texture, I created a bow with White Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out) and Silver & White Sheer Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Glossy Dots Assortment.
Wishing you creativity always,
