#tgifc491 – theme challenge…

09.20.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! We are so glad you are joining us this week’s theme challenge…..Sweater Weather! Theme challenges are one of my faves, and are always a great way to get that creativity flowing.

Our “Sweater Weather” theme inspired me to create this cozy card, using the More Than Autumn Bundle. Apple cider and apple picking always reminds me of fall, so this bundle was just perfect to use for this card.

Hope this card inspires you to create a colorful, cozy card using this week’s challenge!

For this card, I started with some Country Woods Designer Series Paper, adhered it to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base, and added some Perennial Lavender DSP, as well. Next, I cut out some Basic White Thick Cardstock with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies, embossed it with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder, and popped it up Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped all of the images (from the More Than Autumn Bundle) on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad. To color the cup, I used the Pecan Pie and Natural Light Tones Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs. I used the SU900 marker (from the Natural Light Tones Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Pack) to add just a subtle bit of color to the whipped cream. To create the wrapper on the cup, I stamped the cup image on some Country Woods DSP, and cut it out by hand. I then wrapped some Linen Thread around the cup, added a bow, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the images to the card base.

To color the cinnamon sticks, I used the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Pack. For the little apples, I used a combination of the following Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs…..Pecan Pie, Poppy Parade, Natural Light Tones, and Mossy Meadow. After I cut out all of the images with the coordinating dies, I popped them up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiments (from the More Than Autumn Bundle) were heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Wishing you creativity always,
