10.14.2024…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! I love using products in unexpected ways, and…..I love to create birthday cards! So…..I paired the Autumn Leaves Dies with this Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set to create this birthday card. Hope this card inspires you to create something unexpected with your stamps and dies!
For this card, I started with some Bubble Bath Cardstock, embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Bubble Bath Cardstock base. Next, I used a Blending Brush to lightly add some Bubble Bath to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then added some Bubble Bath Cardstock underneath, and popped up the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To create the leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets. After I dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool, I used one of the Autumn Leaves Dies to cut out all of the leaves, and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment is a bow that I created with Gold 1/8″ Trim (cut in half lengthwise, and then distressed). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Blooming Pearls and Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs.
