stampin fancy friday – not a card challenge…..

10.30.2024…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s an “Not a Card” challenge! Our team members each created a fancy project (not a card)…..think 3D, home decor, scrapbooking, etc. This challenge is overflowing with somuch creativity and inspiration!

I love to make gift tags for any occasion, but I think holiday tags are my favorite. To create the paper for diecutting, I used Blending Brushes to add Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, and then used the Water Painter with White Craft Ink to add more splattering. I also used the Decorative Trees Dies, Forever Forest Dies, Golden Greenery Dies, and the Greetings of the Season Bundle.

Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We have a total of 26 amazing projects to share this month, and each using their own unique interpretation of the challenge!

Then…..when you CASE one of our SFF teammates, share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post. We will share in our stories to inspire others as well!

To create each tag, I used one of the the Greetings of the Season Dies, along with Basic White Cardstock. This “Love & Joy” tag was embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder.

To create the paper for diecutting, I used Blending Brushes to add Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, dried the paper with a Heat Tool, and then used the Water Painter with White Craft Ink to add more splattering. For this tag, I used the Decorative Tree Dies to cut out the trees from the watercolored cardstock. I then used the dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock, to cut out the detailed dies that are layered on top.

For this “Christmas” tag, I used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the tag. I then one of the Golden Greenery Dies to cut out the large branch. I used also used another die from the Golden Greenery Dies to cut out the pine branches from Basic White Thick Cardstock.

For the “Merry” tag, card, I used the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the tag. The three trees were cut out with the Forever Forest Dies.

The sentiments (from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set) for each of the tags were embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder.

The bows were created with 1/8″ Gold Trim, cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled embellishments from the Blooming Pearls, Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio, and Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
