love & joy…..

11.09.2024…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing

another card that I with the Yuletide Village Stamp Set. This time, I decided to create a shaker card, using the White Loose Snowflakes. I also chose another unexpected color combo…..Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, and Gray Granite. Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project with one of your favorite color combos, too!

For this card, I started with some Petal Pink Cardstock, embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Petal Pink Cardstock base. Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I used one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut out a circle from Basic White Thick Cardstock (to create the “window”), and then embossed the cardstock with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. I used another Spotlight on Nature die to cut out a frame for the window, using Basic White Thick Cardstock.

I stamped the church (from the Yuletide Village Stamp Set) on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using a Gray Granite Classic Stampin’ Pad. To color the church, I used the following Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs…..Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, and Gray Granite. I “fussy cut” the church, and adhered it underneath window, and then adhered a Window Sheet behind it. Next, I used Foam Adhesive Strips on the back side of the window (to create a “pond”) and added the White Loose Snowflakes. To create the background for the window, I used a Blending Brush to add Balmy Blue to Basic White Thick Cardstock.

The sentiment (from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using a Gray Granite Classic Stampin’ Pad. For some extra texture, I create a bow with White Diagonal Trim (cut in half lengthwise), and Gold Twisted Thread. To add a bit more bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always
