all the love…

12.09.2024….Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! I love to mix and match different patterns of designer series paper for my cards and projects! I wanted a rustic look for this card, so I decided to use the Winter Meadow DSP along with the Country Woods DSP. Hope this card inspires you to mix and match your favorite DSP collections to create a fun and festive card or project, as well!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I add a piece of Country Woods DSP and Winter Meadow DSP, and tore off the bottom edges of each one.

I embossed the trees (from the Forever Forest Stamp Set) on another piece of Country Woods DSP, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. To make the panel sturdier, I added a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath. and then distress the edge of the DSP with a nail buffer. To create the stitching, I used my Take Your Pick Tool to poke holes in the paper, then used Linen Thread for the cross stitches.

The sentiment (from the Citrus Blooms Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment is Silver 1/8″ Trim (cut in half lengthwise and shredded a bit). For a bit of bling, I added embellishments from the Iridescent Faceted Gems and Tinsel Gems Three-Pack.

Wishing you creativity always
