01.11.2025…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! The New Year is here, and it’s time to start making cards and projects for all of the birthdays that will be popping up throughout the year! I love making little 3″ x 3″ cards to add to a gift bag or gift box, and the Cake Celebrations Bundle was just perfect for that! Hope these cards inspire you to create a few birthday cards or projects, as well!
For each of these cards, I used a Blending Brush, along with a Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad, to add color to the background. To create cake stand and the little banner on each of the cakes, I used a nail buffer to sand a Gold Foil Sheet. I then cut out all of the pieces with the Cake Celebrations Dies.
To create the flowers and the pieces of the cake for each card, I used Blending Brushes to add Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam, and Pool Party to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used the Cake Celebrations Dies to cut out all of the pieces. For the icing in the middle of the cakes, I used one of the dies along with Basic White Thick Cardstock.
The sentiments (from the Cake Celebrations Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
