01.15.2025…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Valentine’s Day is just a month away, so I decided I better get started on a few cards. I also wanted to create a card with a coastal vibe. So…..for this card, I combined the Hearts of Elegance Dies, along with Coastal Cabana and the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. Hope this card inspires you to create a few Valentine’s cards and projects, as well!
For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, then dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool. I then used another Water Painter, along with White Craft Ink, to a bit more splattering.
I used one of the Hearts of Elegance Dies to cut out the hearts. I cut out one large heart and one small heart from the Country Woods DSP. I cut out one large heart and one small from Basic White Thick Cardstock. For the other large heart and small heart, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and then die cut the hearts.
The sentiment (from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a little texture, I created a bow with Linen Thread. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls and the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack.
