01.19.2025…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! For our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop this month, it is all about heart and home. Home is where the heart is, so think new home, gifts from the heart, our home to yours, Valentine’s Day, anniversary, love or wedding, the options are vast with this one. This theme was such a great source of inspiration for me, and I hope it is for you, too!
I chose to go with a rustic elegance vibe for my card, and I instantly knew I wanted to use the Hearts of Elegance Dies, along with Country Woods Designer Series Paper. I also added in the County Lace DSP, Nests of Winter DSP, and Perennial Lavender DSP. To distress all of the DSP, I used a nail buffing block to lightly sand the paper.
For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. To create the hearts, I used the Hearts of Elegance Dies, along with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, Country Lace DSP, Nests of Winter DSP, and Perennial Lavender DSP. To add some extra dimension, I also layered a few of the hearts together.
The sentiment (from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. I also add some extra texture with a Linen Thread bow. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots, Tinsel Gems Three-Pack, and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
