01.30.2025…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created with one of my favorite bundles…..Cake Celebrations! It’s a great bundle for creating so many occasions! Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project using this wonderful bundle!
For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered it to a Bubble Bath Cardstock base. I then used a slightly smaller piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used another Water Painter to splatter White Craft Ink.
To create the flowers and the pieces of the cake for each card, I used Blending Brushes to add Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Pecan Pie, and Early Espresso to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used the Cake Celebrations Dies to cut out all of the pieces. For the icing in the middle of the cakes, I used one of the dies along with Basic White Thick Cardstock.
To create cake stand and the little banner on each of the cakes, I used a nail buffer to sand a Gold Foil Sheet. I then cut out all of the pieces with the Cake Celebrations Dies.
The sentiment (from the Cake Celebrations Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
