02.05.2025…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created with my current favorite Sale-A-Bration item…..the Heart Shaped Bundle! Of course, it’s perfect for creating Valentine’s Day projects, but it’s also perfect to use for so many other occasions! For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used a Blending Brush to add Melon Mambo to another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, and dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool. Next, I used my Versamark Pad, along with White Embossing Powder, to heat emboss the background (with the Elements of Text Stamp Set). After I tore off the right edge of the cardstock, I adhered it to the card base.
To create the heart, I used one of the dies from the Heart Shaped Bundle, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. To create the flowers and leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add Pretty in Pink and Granny Apple Green to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I cut out the flowers and leaves with dies from the Heart Shaped Bundle.
The sentiment (from the Heart Shaped Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. Tucked underneath the heart is a bow created with Gold Twisted Thread. For a bit of bling, I added embellishments from the Iridescent Basic Pearl Jewels and Blooming Pearls.
