03.04.2025…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! The Country Woods Designer Series Paper is “hands down” my absolute fave! I never miss an opportunity to use it on my cards and projects. For these 4″ x 4″ cards, I cut the DSP into strips of varied widths. It was a perfect background for the tags I created with the Grow With Love Bundle. Hope these little cards inspire you to use some of your favorite DSP collections for your cards or projects, as well.

I used the Basic White Cardstock to create the bases for these 4″ x 4″ cards. I then cut two patterns of the Country Woods DSP into strips…..varying in width from 3/8″ to 3/4″.
I stamped the images (from the Grow With Love Bundle) on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, using Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, and Early Espresso (for the words). I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, and dried the paper with a Heat Tool. To create the speckling, I used a Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker and an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. To cut out the tags, I used one of the dies from the Grow With Love Bundle.

I used a tiny hole punch to add a hole to both of the corners on the top of the tags, and then threaded some Linen Thread through the holes. Next, I tied several pieces of Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) onto the Linen Thread. For a little extra detail, I sprinkled on Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots.
Wishing you creativity always,
