so lucky to know you..

03.12.2025…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! I love using die cuts to add extra layers and texture to my cards. For today’s card, I used Country Birdhouse Dies for the flowers…..and the Textured Florals Dies for the branches. Hope this card inspires you to use your dies to add some extra layers to your projects, as well.

For this card, I started with Gray Granite Cardstock, and embossed it with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. I then used a Water Painter, along with White Craft Ink to add some splatters. After I dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Gray Granite Cardstock base.

To create the flowers, I used Blending Brushes to lightly add Flirty Flamingo and Summer Splash to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, and dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool. To cut out the flowers, I used the Country Birdhouse Dies. To create the branches, I used a Blending Brush to add Soft Sea Foam to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and add some speckling with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. To cut out the branches, I used one of the Textured Florals Dies. I also cut out two more branches from Basic White Thick Cardstock.

The sentiment (from the Country Flowers Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Gray Granite Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. I then cut out the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. To create the bow, I used White Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Blooming Pearls and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
