#tgifc523 – color challenge…

05.05.2025…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! We are so glad you are joining us this week’s super fun “color” challenge…..using Petunia Pop, Daffodil Delight, and Balmy Blue! Break out that ink, cardstock, or whatever you choose using these colors!

For my card, I used the new Celebratory Sips Bundle (online exclusive)…..currently available to SU! demonstrators…..and will available to customers beginning May 6th! To add color to the fruit images, I used Sponge Daubers to apply the ink to the stamps, then spritzed the stamps with water before stamping the images. Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project, using this week’s challenge! We can wait to see what you create!

For this card, I started with a Basic White Thick Cardstock base, embossed it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used one of the Textured Notes Dies to die cut another piece of Basic White Cardstock. Next, I used a Blending Brush to add Balmy Blue to the cardstock, and used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets.

To create the glasses, I used two of Celebratory Sips Dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used Blending Brushes to add Daffodil Delight and Petunia Pop to the glasses. For some extra dimension, I embossed them with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders. I also added a bow on the Petunia Pop glass, using White 1/4″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise).

To create each of the lemons, I stamped the image in Daffodil Delight, used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Timid Tiger, and sprayed the stamp with a Stampin’ Spritzer before I stamped it on Basic White Thick Cardstock. To create each of the strawberries, I used a Sponge Daubers to add Petunia Pop and Granny Apple Green, and sprayed the stamp with a Stampin’ Spritzer before I stamped it on Basic White Thick Cardstock. After I dried the stamped images with a Heat Tool, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

;asthen added a small strip of Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper. For an extra bit of texture, I added Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) at the top of the DSP strip, then added a mini staple at each end of the ribbon.

The sentiments (from the Celebratory Sips Bundle) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. After I cut out the sentiments, I popped them up with little pieces of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Opal Round Assortment, Iridescent Faceted Gems, and Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems.

Wishing you creativity always,
