05.18.2025…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop this month is inspired by…..Perfect Pairing. We are using at least one of the new products (from the Stampin’ Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalog and/or brand new Online Exclusives), and pairing it with something old to create a uniquely creative combo.
For my card, I chose to use the new Gallery Blooms Bundle, and paired it with one of my all-time favorite products….the Country Woods Designer Series Paper! Hope this card inspires to make a create a card or project with some of your favorite new and old products!
For this card, I started with some Country Woods Designer Series Paper, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and added another layer of the Country Woods DSP (with the top right corner torn off).
I heat-embossed the flowers (from the Gallery Blooms Bundle) on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using White Embossing Powder. To color the flowers and leaves, I used a Water Painter along with Pretty in Pink, Strawberry Slush, Soft Sea Foam, and Mossy Meadow. I also added some speckling with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. After I cut out the flowers with the coordinating die, I popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set) on some Country Woods DSP, using White Embossing Powder. To create the bow, I used White 1/4″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
