celebrate…

06.17.2025……Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! One of my favorite things to do is combine an unexpected variety of products and elements to create my cards and projects. And…..this card is no exception! For this card, I used the Elements of Text Stamp Set, the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set (for the sentiment), Gallery Blooms Dies, Perfectly Pears Dies (an upcoming Online Exclusive), and the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Hope this card inspires you to mix and match some of your favorite products as well!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I used a Blending Brush to softly add Gray Granite ink to another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then stamped the background image (from the Elements of Text Stamp Set) three times, using a Gray Granite Classic Stampin’ Pad, and added speckling with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. After I layered another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

To create the wreath, I used a Blending Brush to add Mossy Meadow ink to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and added speckling with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. I then used one of the Gallery Blooms to cut out several little branches, and layered them together in a “wreath” shape. To create the layered flowers, I used a Blending Brush to add Petal Pink to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then used one of the Perfectly Pears Dies (an upcoming Online Exclusive) to cut out lots of tiny flowers. After I distressed the all of then flowers, I layered three of them together to create each of the completed flowers.

The sentiment (from the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Gray Granite Cardstock, using White Embossing Powder. To add some shabby chic texture, I created a bow with White 1/4″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
