07.28.2025…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created with Impressions Abloom Dies. Not only did I use the dies to create the flowers and leaves, but I also used them to create the watermelon slices. I used the large label die for the watermelon, and the large label border die for the watermelon rind….then cut them in half to create the two slices. Hope this card inspires to use your some of your favorite dies in a fun, unique way!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock and embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered Basic Black Cardstock underneath, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
To create the watermelon, watermelon rind, and leaves, I used Blending Brushes to add Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, dried the paper with a Heat Tool, and die cut each of the shapes with the Impressions Abloom Dies. To create the watermelon and rind, I used the large label die and the large label border, and each piece almost in half across the middle. (I left a small piece in the middle of the die cuts that unused.) To create the center of the flowers, I used a Blending Brush to add Lemon Lolly to Basic White Thick Cardstock. The flowers were die cut from just Basic White Thick Cardstock. For the seeds, I used the tiny leaf dies (from the Birthday Celebration Dies), along with Basic Black Cardstock. I then trimmed them at either end to create the seed shape.
The sentiment (from the Layers of Beauty Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels and Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems.
Wishing you creativity always,
