08.06.2025…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created with the Weekend Adventures Stamp Set. While the images and phrases in this stamp set are wonderful for memory keeping, they are also perfect to use for cards as well. That being said, I thought this would be a fun housewarming card! I also decided to pair it with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, and create a rustic wall rack to hang the bouquet and coffee mug. Hope this card inspires to use some of your favorite products in a fun, unexpected way as well!
For this card, I started with some Country Woods DSP, and adhered it to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base. I then layered some Basic White Thick Cardstock on top of the DSP. Next, I embossed another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.
To create the wall rack, I adhered a strip of Country Woods DSP to the embossed cardstock. I then cut a slightly narrower piece of the same DSP pattern, and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment and images (from the Weekend Adventures Stamp Set) were stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using a Saddle Brown Stazon Ink Pad. To color the images, I used the following Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs…..Petal Pink Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, Pool Party, and Summer Splash.
For a bit of rustic texture, I added a bow around the bouquet using Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. To add the “hooks” on the wall rack, I used the Pressed Flower Motifs.
