03.04.18… Today has been a dark, snowy, rainy day where I live (oh…and did I mention the hail, too!), so I thought I create something bright, fun, and cheery! I used the Starburst Punch and the Stitched Shapes Framelits to create the layered circles. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to “pop up” the circles, and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to “pop up” the lemon slices and the sentiment. The “Hello Friend” is from A Good Day stamp set, another fun set from the Occasions catalog. I had actually stamped and cut out this sentiment for another card, but never ended up using it. I certainly don’t save every extra stamped image that I end up with, but I do save the sentiments quite often. It’s nice to have them on hand to quickly finish up a project!
I used the Polka Dot Basics Textured Impression Embossing Folder with a strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock, and added 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon in Lemon Lime Twist (love this!). With a just little bit of linen thread and a few Rhinestone and Pearl Basic Jewels, I was in lemon heaven!
