01.20.19….. I can’t believe that it’s Sunday already. This brand new year is already moving at a rapid pace! For today’s card, I used a mix of the new Sale-A-Bration (…aka SAB) Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, as well as the new All My Love Designer Series Paper from the 2019 Occasions Catalog.

I started with a Thick Whisper White Cardstock Base, and then trimmed off about ½” off the bottom of the card front. I also added thin strip of the All My Love Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card, so that it would “peek out” underneath. For some extra detail, I also added a tiny scalloped border along the bottom of the card front (created with Whisper White Cardstock and one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits), as well as a narrow strip of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper across the top of the card.
After layering on a large piece of the Botancial Butterfly Designer Series Paper, I die cut a Whisper White Cardstock circle (using one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits), and embossed it with the Striped Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. One of the Layering Circles Framelits was also used to die cut a scalloped circle from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.
After adding some ribbon (from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack) around the center of the card, I use one of the hearts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits to die cut a heart from the All My Love Designer Series Paper, and then popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals . (Tip: A couple of the hearts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits match up perfectly with one of the patterns from the All My Love Designer Series Paper.)
I stamped the sentiment (from the new Well Said stamp set) on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. After cutting out the sentiment and creating a “banner”, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath the sentiment is a cute, little, Whisper White filigree border, die cut with one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. For those extra little details, I added a Linen Thread bow, a couple of the Sale-A-Bration Butterfly Elements, and a few Pearl Basic Jewels in the middle of the butterfly.
