After die cutting a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits) , I stamped the background (with one of the stamps from the Gallery Grunge stamp set) in Pool Party (“stamped off” once for a more subtle effect), and then added speckling it and “flicking” the thick end of the my Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker, on the edge of the marker cap. I then layered it with Gray Granite Cardstock, then used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the Pool Party Cardstock base.
I used one of the Layering Circles Framelits to die cut a scalloped circle from Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, and the added two small strips from that same paper collection. For the focal point of my card, I added one of the large wood butterflies from the SAB Butterfly Elements, the added a bow with Silver & Pool Party Baker’s Twine, Whisper White Polka Tulle Ribbon, and Whisper White Baker’s Twine (…and I used just a few plys/strands from my piece of twine, for a more delicate feel). The sentiment from the Well Words stamp set (…love, love, love this set!) was stamped with Night of Navy on Whisper White Cardstock. After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath the sentiment is a flower flourish, which was die cut (using the Well Written Framelits) from a bit of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. For my last little bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Pearl Basic Jewels.
