gather together…

09.06.19…..Welcome to the weekend, everyone!  It’s hard to believe that it’s already September, and Fall is officially a couple of weeks away!  That being said, I’ve been busy creating lot of fun, fall projects (including the card above) using the Come to Gather Suite from the new 2019 Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog.  This wonderful collection of products includes the Gather Together Bundle (Gather Together Stamp Set + Gathered Leaves Dies), as well as the gorgeous Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.  Love, love, love!

To create this card, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock on a Whisper White Thick Cardstock Base.  I also added some Come To Gather Designer Series Paper, a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder), and a smaller strip of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper (notched at one end).

For a bit of that Autumn glow, I used the largest leave die (from the Gather Together Bundle) to cut three leaves from a Copper Foil Sheet. Before I adhered the leaves with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked a tiny bit of shredded Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon underneath.

The sentiment (also from the Gather Together Bundle) was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad  After I cut out the sentiment, I  used my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker to add some speckling (by “flicking” the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap), and adhered it with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To add that shabby chic feel to the card, I also distressed the edges of all of the paper, include the leaves.  For just a little touch of bling, I added a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
