#tgifc235 – gather together…

Gather Together - Tags - TGIF Challenge by Tammy C. Wilson (zoom)

10.25.19…..Happy Friday, stampers! Another week has flown right by, and it’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, our Project Challenge is…..Tag, You’re It! Yes, my friends, it’s time to get inspired and create some fun and festive tags!  I hope you have a chance to play along with us today over at TGIF Challenges!  We can’t wait to see what you create!

Since Thanksgiving will be here before you know it, I thought I would use the Gather Together Bundle one more time to create both of these Autumn-inspired tags.

For my first tag, I used a 2″ strip of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, punched one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and embossed it with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I then added a piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.  For the tiny scalloped borders, I used Crumb Cake Cardstock, along with one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  The leaf (from the Gather Together Bundle) was stamped in Pear Pizzazz, and cut out with the coordinating die from the same bundle.  I also used my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker to add some speckling, by “flicking” the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap.

For some extra texture, I punched a tiny hole in one end of the label, and then added some Linen Thread, Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, and Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon (cut apart vertically, and shredded just a bit). For the tag hanger, I added some distressed Braided Linen Trim.  For a subtle bit of bling, I sprinkled on a couple of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

For my second tag, I used a 2″ strip of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, punched one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and embossed it with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I then used one of the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut out a piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper, and layered it with some Crumb Cake Cardstock, (die cut with one of the Layering Ovals Dies).
