12.13.2019…..Wow! I just can’t believe that Christmas Day is less than two weeks away! It’s been a “flurry” of activity this month….from holiday parties, shopping ’til I drop, work, and just spending some quality time with friends and family. That being said, I didn’t want to miss a chance to create another card with the Wrapped In Plaid Suite from the 2019 Holiday Catalog. This catalog will soon be expiring on January 2, 2020. So…..if you have not ordered all of your favs from this catalog, you’ll want to place your order as soon as possible!
I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered it with a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock Base. For a fun pop of color, I added a small strip of Let It Snow Designer Series Paper, and added a scalloped border to the bottom edge (using one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies). The trees (from the Perfectly Plaid Bundle) were stamped in Coastal Cabana (“stamped off” once), and punched out with the coordinating Pine Tree Punch.
After I popped up the trees with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a bit of Silver Metallic Thread. The sentiment (also from the Perfectly Plaid Bundle), was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock (using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder), and also popped up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. For that extra bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the Snowflake Sequins.
