#tgifc245 – color challenge – label me bold

Label Me Bold - Happy Birthday - TGIF by Tammy C. Wilson

01.03.2020…..Happy New Year, everyone! Yes, my stamping, friends, it’s Friday once again, and you know what that means…..it’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have a wonderful color challenge for you…..Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry, and Blackberry Bliss!  Since Blackberry Bliss has been one of my long time favs, I’m super excited about this challenge!  I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!

For this week’s card, I started with a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock, and embossed it with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I used my Aqua Painter to add some speckling. (I created the speckling by dipping my Aqua Painter into some Rich Razzleberry ink, and “flicking” the brush tip against the brush cap.)  For an extra bit of shine, I heat-embossed the mini stars (from the Label Me Bold stamp set) with some Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and my Versamark Pad.  Underneath, I tucked in a small piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, which I embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and then adhered both pieces to a Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock base.  For a bit more dimension, I also distressed the edges of the cardstock.

I used the mini border (from the Painted Labels Dies) to die cut a tiny piece of Gold Glimmer Paper. Layered on top of that, is a small, scalloped strip of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, die cut with on of the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  For a little more texture, I also added a piece of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim.

The sentiments (also from the Label Me Bold stamp set) were heat-embossed on Very Vanilla Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  After I cut them out, I popped them up with a few tiny pieces of my Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Woven Threads Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
